Hello all! I have some news from the factory.
I was told that they are just coming off of a two week Covid lockdown so production has been delayed a little bit, unfortunately. They are working very hard to get these bags finished quickly and I will do my best to get them out as quickly as possible once they arrive. However, It looks like a Christmas delivery is unlikely due to this delay and early January is more probable so long as there are no further lockdowns. China has a very strict Covid policy so factory shut downs are very common. We have been very lucky so far and hopefully production will still wrap up in the next two weeks so that the bags can be shipped! I hope that the next update is to let you know that the bags have been shipped!

Pre-production samples of all bags! + Production timeline

Hello! We have pre-production sample photos of all bags now. If you want to change the color of the bag or bags your ordered for any reason, please send me a message on Kickstarter with the color of the current bag(s) you are getting and the color you want to switch them to. Example: I ordered a black bag but would like to switch to the cow print bag.
Production timeline: The current estimated finish time for the bags is early November. So long as things continue to move smoothly and according to plan, the bags will ship in Early November and take 4-6 weeks to reach the US and be delivered to me. From there, quality checking will occur and bags will be sent out as quickly as I can manage. These timelines are subject to change but I will work hard to get these bags to you as quick as I can. If things go smoothly, bags may make it to US backers before Christmas! The estimated project timeline was a January 2023 delivery with the quantity of bags made so this puts us ahead of that schedule!
Further Updates: I will likely not post any other updates unless significant delays occur or I get news worth sharing.
There are still about 20 surveys that have not been answered. If you have not answered your survey, please do so! If you are not able to find the email with your survey link, please send me a message on Kickstarter and I will help you out.
These are all manufacturer photos. The lighting and color balance is not consistent. Details about each design are below the photo.
The pink and lavender bags have a different material strap to match better.
The lighter color straps were chosen for the cow print bag as the rest of the colors did not match the darker straps and it looked off. I think these will look better in person than in the photos.
The orange straps on the color block bag I believe are more orange than they look in the photos. The reflective material is not helping photograph their color accurately. The other option was a much darker orange and green and they did not look good at all. I'm very happy with how these have turned out.

Unanswered Surveys + Full Bag Color Samples! Forest, Charcoal, Cow, and Pink.

Hello everyone! I finally have some full bag samples in the colors to share! I have been waiting to have actual news and photos before posting this update. I know it has been a while.
There are still about 30 people that have not yet filled out their surveys. Please fill out your surveys or reach out if you need help getting your survey.
These are still samples before mass production starts and some changes are going to be made to some of the bags so check out the pictures and the changes below!
The bag on the left was the initial bag sample they showed me. The canvas was way too bright of a green, so a change was made to this slightly darker and less vibrant canvas. The brown was also way too dark, so this lighter brown was used and it is very close to the artwork of the bag! They are working very hard to make sure the colors match as best as can be sourced and are actively sourcing materials to better match the artwork for the bags.
Here is the Charcoal Grey bag. The zippers, webbing, mesh back, and mesh pockets are all supposed to be black so those need to be changed. The inserts are also supposed to be a darker grey instead of black. The inside of the bag is black.
Here is the pink bag! This bag and the cow bag are both going to have changes to the webbing color.
The pink on this bag and the pink bag should be a more vibrant and less...fleshy color. The right side here is a mockup closer to the color I would like for this bag. This color change would be made to both the cow and the pink bags. The zippers and mesh pockets and back on the cow bag may also be changed closer to this color if a better matching material can be sourced. The zippers and mesh look like they match very well on the pink bag.
I hope that by the end of the month I will have photos of the remaining colors of bags to share! Thank you for your patience up to this point and I'm so excited to see these and I hope you are too!
As long as Covid lockdowns and power rationing due to heat waves don't greatly effect the factory that I am working with, I think we should still be on track for a late Dec. to early January ship date. However, many factors could cause this to change. Once the bags are all in mass production, I should be able to provide a better estimate on production times.

I want to avoid posting updates without having anything important to share so that if you do see an update from me, you will know that it has important or exciting information! Missing Surveys + Cards Charged.

Hello everyone!
I am still missing about 50 surveys. Please get those in as soon as you can. If you cannot find or access the survey, please reach out as soon as possible.
All of the insert stretch goals were met except brown. Those who added a brown insert have had it removed from your pledge and were not charged for it. Baby Blue, Red, and White inserts are being made as well as the Reverse Brights.
If you added a kidcore colorblock bag, I am going to discuss some details with my manufacturer this week and see if they can be made. Your BackerKit costs have not be charged yet and will not be until later this week once I talk to my manufacturer. If they are not being made, they will be removed and you will not be charged.
Early Bird survey issues:
If you added on an early bird backpack through Kickstarter and are having issues selecting a color through the survey, please send me a message on Kickstarter and let me know which color bag you want for that second bag. I will manually add it and make sure everything is set and you are not over-charged for the second bag.
I will do my best to answer questions promptly through Kickstarter. If you have a question that is urgent or has not been answered within 48 hours, please reach out via social media or email. Thank you for your support and patience and I cannot wait to get production rolling on these bags!

Hello everyone! Surveys were sent out late last night so if you check your email inboxes, you should find an email with the link to fill out the surveys. Alternatively, you can follow this link and enter the email address associated with your Kickstarter account to access your survey.
Cards will be charged for shipping + any add on items on the Friday the 22nd.
Backerkit Stretch goals:
There are a couple different color inserts that are available to "unlock" if a certain amount of people decide they want to purchase them. 10 orders per insert color are needed and 40 orders of the kidcore colorblock bag are needed. You can add these to your pledge to help unlock them. You will not be charged for them if they don't unlock. The total number ordered/still needed shows up on the add on store page so you can see how far along each goal is. The kidcore coloblock is only available as an add-on.
Bag Inserts:
All bags come with matching inserts included. You do not need to purchase extras. The bags come with the following color inserts:
- black bag : black inserts
- pink bag : pink inserts
- grey bag : grey inserts
- cow bag : pink inserts
- green bag : green inserts
- lavender bag : lavender inserts
- color block : top insert is green, bottom is orange.
